Claude Design is an Anthropic Labs tool that gives Claude a visual canvas. You describe what you need — a landing page, a slide deck, a prototype, a one-pager — and Claude builds a first version you then refine through conversation, inline comments, direct edits, or sliders it generates for you. Given access, it applies your team's design system so everything comes out on-brand, and you can export to formats like PPTX or hand off to Claude Code.
It launched in research preview in April 2026, powered by Anthropic's vision model, and is aimed at designers, PMs, founders, and account execs who want polished visual work without starting from a blank canvas.
