ChatGPT Connector

A ChatGPT connector is the plug that lets an outside app run inside ChatGPT.

It does two things: it answers in the chat, and it takes action there — booking, pricing, scheduling — without sending the buyer to your site. OpenAI now groups these under "apps," built with the Apps SDK on top of the open MCP standard. It is the ChatGPT-side twin of a Claude connector.
